THE SEVENTIES

It's no secret that 1970s style is back in a big way. High waisted pants, double knits, and clogs were all over the runways for fall in a palette of warm browns, tans, and oranges. Even though it was dubbed "The Decade Taste Forgot", the Seventies brought us Missoni knits, DVF wrap dresses, and platform sandals. I love 1970s style, and am enjoying throwing back to the decade before I was born.

I'm wearing Grey Antics jeans, a Zehana turtleneck, H&M necklace, and Matiko wedges.

I only wish my hair were more like Farrah Fawcett's.

And since I'm channeling the 1970s in my look, here are some of my favorite artworks from the decade.

Robert Smithson's Spiral Jetty.

Cindy Sherman's Untitled Film Stills.

Yoko Ono's Cut Piece performance, where attendees were given scissors and the opportunity to cut off Yoko's clothing.

What do you think were the greatest developments of the '70s?
